Delete Your Account

Your account, your call. Here's how to close it — and what happens when you do.

Delete from inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open Ardents and go to the Thermal Signal tab (your profile).
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
  3. Tell us why you're leaving (optional), type DELETE to confirm, and you're done.

Deletion takes effect immediately — no waiting period, no phone call, no hoops.

Can't access the app? Request deletion by email

Email us from the address you signed up with, with the subject line "Delete my account." We'll verify it's really you, then delete the account. You'll get a confirmation reply when it's done — within 30 days at the outside, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your photos and videos, your Transmissions, your matches and conversations, and your Vibe and preference data. This cannot be undone — if you come back, you start fresh.

Limited records may be retained where the law requires it (for example, records connected to safety reports or legal obligations) and are kept only as long as required. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Not sure? You can pause instead

If you just need a break, tap Deactivate my account on the same screen. Your Thermal Signal disappears from Ardents while you're away, and everything comes right back the next time you log in. Nothing is deleted.
