Ardents
Community Guidelines
Effective July 1, 2026
Every Ardent agrees to these guidelines when they join. They're part of our Terms of Use — and they're what keeps this community worth being part of.
1The Ardents Standard
Ardents is a space for real connections — whether you're here solo or as a couple. We keep things classy, honest, and respectful. These aren't just rules; they're what makes this community worth being part of.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. Objectionable content — sexually exploitative, violent, hateful, harassing, or otherwise offensive material — is removed, and the accounts that post it are terminated. Every profile, photo, and message can be reported in-app, and any user can be blocked instantly. We review reports and act on them, with a target of 24 hours.
2Be Real
Use your real photos and verify your identity. Be upfront about who you are, what you're looking for, and your relationship status. Catfishing, fake profiles, and misleading bios aren't welcome here.
3Keep It Classy
Flirting is encouraged — that's the whole point. But explicit or graphic content isn't. No unsolicited nude photos, no sexual messages right out of the gate. Think cocktail bar, not locker room.
4Respect Boundaries
No means no. Don't harass, stalk, threaten, or impersonate anyone. If someone isn't interested, move on gracefully. If something feels off, use the report button — that's what it's there for.
5Couples Ground Rules
Both partners must consent to being on the app and both should be verified. Communicate honestly with potential connections about your dynamic. No one should ever be surprised to find out there's a partner involved.
6Break These Rules?
We use AI moderation to keep conversations respectful. Violations lead to warnings, then suspension, then a permanent ban. We take safety seriously so you can focus on finding your people.
Some things skip straight to a permanent ban with no warning: anything involving minors, non-consensual or intimate content shared without consent, and credible threats. Child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement.
